Would you want to combine a seasonal job with a pure Lappish experience? Do you have relevant experience as a cook and want to experience how it is working in a pure Finnish winter? We have a great work opportunity you! Currently, we are looking for CHEFS for our client Hotel Ylläsrinne located in the north of Finland.

As our next cook in Lapland, you will be primarily working at the hotel’s restaurant, cooking and preparing various dishes and meals. You will also ensure that all food is freshly prepared and of the highest quality. You pay the utmost attention to the ingredients you use and really enjoy what you do.
The duration of the contract is mid-November 2022 till the end of March 2023, with the possibility to be continued until May 2023. The working time is 37,5 h/week (159 h/ month), in 2 shits rotation – morning and evening (18:00-24:00).
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Finnish seasonal work contract
- Salary level is following the Finnish Collective agreement for the hotel and restaurant industry
- Extra payments for working on public holidays, weekends, and evening shifts
- Accommodation: provided by the employer, paid by the employee, the cost: approx. 200-250 €/ month (double room)
- Working in an international and multicultural environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous professional experience as a cook
- English language on the communicative level (B1)
- Independent and quick way of working
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Resilience and ability to work under pressure
- Having a positive attitude to work
The employment agreement is signed with Barona, but you will be working for our customer – Safartica.

On that time forestry was also a big part of the business during summer. Since then, we have developed and expanded our services to include a variety of different program services and accommodation in multiple destinations.
